Junior Tennis Initiative

JTI (Junior Tennis Initiative) is the ITF program to start tennis from childhood so that children grow up with a good tennis level, the program mainly takes place at schools where coaches can meet children and give them some tennis sessions. After schools, the coach selects best talented and train them according to their level and ages. In Rwanda JTI is based on two programs
a. Tennis at schools: this is regarding on find some schools which can understand and like to have a partnership in this program and Rwanda tennis federation select coaches to work for this program and give them materials needed.
b. Tennis at clubs: every club have children use to play tennis either in weekend or after classes, with this program every club will have a coach in charge of kids development who will take care of these kids and federation gives him/her the materials concerns and technical assistant. Every club through this program will select good performers to join 14 & U development program and IPRC academy.

Kids Tennis Summer Camp

This camp is annually program which use to take place in summer holiday where kids join tennis in different clubs and get free coaching during holiday period mostly two weeks

ITF Level 1 Coaching

This is to help Rwanda tennis coaches building their capacity which helps them to give real and enough coaching to our talented players and also help the national development

ITF National Officiating

This to increase the number of officials and help them to increase their knowledge about tennis rules and regulation and also build their capacity in tennis understanding more so that we can have international officials.

Wheelchair Tennis

Wheelchair Tennis was founded in 1976 and is one of the fastest growing wheelchair sports in the world. Wheelchair Tennis integrates very easily with the able-bodied game since it can be played on any regular tennis court, with no modifications to the size of the court or the size of rackets or balls. The game follows traditional tennis rules, with the only exception being that the Wheelchair Tennis player is allowed two bounces of the ball. Wheelchair Tennis has been part of the Paralympic Games since 1992.
The wheelchair tennis is quit a new sport in Rwanda and It was introduced in the middle of 2017 under the leadership of Rwanda Tennis Federation Wheelchair Development Centers
